Almaty - Shimbulak - city tour in Almaty
Today you are going to drive to Shimbulak Gorge which is a beautiful place where you can see Kazakhstan Gorge. The largest ski resort in Kazakhstan, also the oldest. It was built for the training of the Kazakh ski team during the Soviet times. There are 7 lifts, including one gondola starting from Médéo, 5 km lower. Ski lovers will enjoy about 20 km of slopes. However, when we will be there it will be ending of the skiing season. We are going to use a cable car and go up to 3000 m. oversee level. Short walking and come back to Almaty. After start the tour with a visit to one of the oldest of Almaty parks - Park of 28 Panfilov Guardsmen, where one of the most beautiful wooden buildings in the world - Zenkov Cathedral is located. In the park, you will also see the Memorial of Glory and Eternal Flame, listen to the stories of the guide, and admire the beauty of the Museum of Musical Instruments.
The next point of interest is a popular place for townspeople - the Green Bazaar, where it is impossible to refrain from shopping. It is a great chance to experience the atmosphere of the real Eastern market, its colors, smells, and crowds. There you can obtain famous oriental sweets, and dried fruits, and buy local products and souvenirs, but don't forget to bargain. In the market, they accept cash in tenge (local currency), so it would be good to have some with you or there is an exchange point just nearby to the market area. After tour transfer to Hotel.

After visitng Kaindy lake, border crossing from Kegen Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan. After all formalities, our Kyrgyz guide will wait for us at the border gate then drive to Karakol town . Have a short city tour in Karakol and stay in guest house of Karakol.
Change a car to UAZ. Drive through Ak-Suu village. Visit Altyn-Arashan by very bumpy road. You can go to hot springs that can be until 50 degrees.
Come back to Karakol. Dinner by your wish possible to do dinner in Dungan house. Overnight in a hotel or a guest house.
