Land border crossing points of Kyrgyzstan
Kyrgyzstan has many land border crossings as it shares borders with four neighboring countries – Kazakhstan, China, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan. Each of these borders has checkpoints with different operating hours and crossing features.
Some border crossings are located in remote mountainous areas where conditions can be challenging. For example, high mountain passes such as Kyzyl Art, Torugart and Irkeshtam are located far from large population centers.
