The World Nomad Games in Kyrgyzstan – A Unique Event Not to Be Missed!
The 4th World Nomad Games will be held from August 31 to September 9. The grand opening ceremony will take place in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, while the main competitions and cultural events will be hosted on the picturesque shores of Lake Issyk-Kul.
The World Nomad Games are a major international event that brings together athletes, artists, and guests from around the globe. The program features traditional nomadic sports such as kok-boru, wrestling, archery, horse racing, and many more, along with vibrant cultural festivals, craft exhibitions, ethnographic fairs, and musical performances.
This is more than just a trip — it’s a journey into the heart of nomadic heritage and spirit!

Nature, Flavors, and a Spectacular Show
The exact start time of the World Nomad Games Opening Ceremony has not yet been confirmed, but based on previous years, it will likely begin around 7:00–8:00 PM. Until then, we have a full and exciting day planned for you.
In the morning, we will head to the stunning Ala-Archa National Park, where you can enjoy fresh mountain air and breathtaking natural scenery.
We’ll visit the Sky Bridge — a bridge suspended between cliffs with spectacular panoramic views. We’ll take a walk across, capture amazing photos, and then return to Bishkek at 14:00 - 15:00.
Back in the city, you will have time for late lunch before we set off to the grand Opening Ceremony of the World Nomad Games.

Meet your guide in Bishkek and depart for a scenic drive to Son-Kul Lake, one of Kyrgyzstan’s most beautiful high-altitude lakes.
En route, visit the historic Burana Tower and enjoy a guided tour of this ancient Silk Road site.
The journey continues through mountain passes, wide valleys, and traditional Kyrgyz villages, with plenty of opportunities for photography and to admire the breathtaking landscapes.
Arrive at Son-Kul Lake, set amid vast alpine pastures and surrounded by majestic mountains.
Overnight stay in traditional yurts, where you will experience authentic nomadic hospitality and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this remote and stunning location.

Son-Kul lake - Kek-Kiya (5-6 hours journey)
Depart from Son-Kül and begin the scenic journey toward the Kek-Kiya (Kok-Kiya) Valley — a drive of approximately 200 km and around 5–6 hours through dramatic mountain landscapes and high-altitude passes.
Enjoy a hearty breakfast before setting off toward the Kek-Kiya Valley, a remote and breathtaking region nestled in the Naryn area of Kyrgyzstan.
Along the way, savor the spectacular views of alpine meadows, rugged mountain peaks, and winding river valleys that make this part of the Tien-Shan so unforgettable.
Upon arrival at the yurt camp in the Kek-Kiya Valley, take time to soak in the panoramas and relax in this peaceful, remote setting.
In the evening, you’ll have excellent opportunities for photography — capture the glow of the sunset over the mountains and rivers, and enjoy the tranquil light as day turns to dusk.
If the skies are clear after dark, don’t miss the chance to photograph the dazzling night sky, rich with stars and the Milky Way stretching across the high-altitude heavens.

After breakfast, we drive along the southern shore of Lake Issyk-Kul. On the way, we visit the Jety-Oguz Valley, famous for its red rock formations known as the “Seven Bulls” and the “Broken Heart.” Your guide will share the legends behind these iconic landmarks.
Next, we continue to the Barskoon Gorge, where we enjoy a scenic hike to a waterfall surrounded by beautiful mountain landscapes.
