The World Nomad Games in Kyrgyzstan – A Unique Event Not to Be Missed!
The 4th World Nomad Games will be held from August 31 to September 6. The grand opening ceremony will take place in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, while the main competitions and cultural events will be hosted on the picturesque shores of Lake Issyk-Kul.
The World Nomad Games are a major international event that brings together athletes, artists, and guests from around the globe. The program features traditional nomadic sports such as kok-boru, wrestling, archery, horse racing, and many more, along with vibrant cultural festivals, craft exhibitions, ethnographic fairs, and musical performances.
This is more than just a trip — it’s a journey into the heart of nomadic heritage and spirit!

Nature, Flavors, and a Spectacular Show
The exact start time of the World Nomad Games Opening Ceremony has not yet been confirmed, but based on previous years, it will likely begin around 7:00–8:00 PM. Until then, we have a full and exciting day planned for you.
In the morning, we will head to the stunning Ala-Archa National Park, where you can enjoy fresh mountain air and breathtaking natural scenery.
We’ll visit the Sky Bridge — a bridge suspended between cliffs with spectacular panoramic views. We’ll take a walk across, capture amazing photos, and then return to Bishkek at 14:00 - 15:00.
Back in the city, you will have time for late lunch before we set off to the grand Opening Ceremony of the World Nomad Games.

En route, visit the historic Burana Tower and enjoy a guided tour of this ancient Silk Road site.
The journey continues through mountain passes, wide valleys, and traditional Kyrgyz villages, with plenty of opportunities for photography and to admire the breathtaking landscapes.
Arrive at Son-Kul Lake at the altitude of 3016 meters over sea level, set amid vast alpine pastures and surrounded by majestic mountains.
Overnight stay in traditional yurts, where you will experience authentic nomadic hospitality and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this remote and stunning location.

Today we leave Son-Kul Lake and head towards the southern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake. Before departure, you will have time to enjoy the peaceful scenery of the jailoo and experience the unique atmosphere of nomadic life.
After breakfast, we drive down from Son-Kul and stop in Kochkor for lunch. Continuing our journey, we visit the spectacular Aksay Canyons, known for their colorful rock formations and impressive landscapes. After the excursion, we continue to Bokonbaevo village, where you will check in to your guest house and have free time.

After breakfast, we drive down from Son-Kul and stop in Kochkor for lunch. Our first stop is the fascinating Fairy Tale Canyon (Skazka Canyon), where you can take a walk among its colorful rock formations, narrow trails, and spectacular viewpoints.
We then continue to Barskoon Gorge, famous for its majestic Tien Shan spruce forest and picturesque waterfalls. Enjoy a scenic walk to the waterfalls and admire the beautiful mountain landscapes.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, we visit the beautiful Djety-Oguz Gorge, one of Kyrgyzstan's most iconic natural attractions, renowned for its striking red sandstone cliffs, including the famous "Broken Heart" and "Seven Bulls" rock formations.
After the excursion, we continue our drive to Karakol.
Arrival in Karakol and check-in at the guest house.

Transfer by a Soviet-style 4WD truck (Russian military vehicle) to Altyn-Arashan Valley. Due to the rugged mountain road and river crossings, this is the only suitable vehicle for reaching the valley and is part of the adventure.
Arrive in the spectacular gorge and hike to a panoramic viewpoint offering breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks, dense Tien Shan spruce forests, and clouds drifting through the mountains.
Optional visit to the natural hot springs of Altyn-Arashan, where you can relax in warm mineral waters surrounded by pristine alpine scenery.
Enjoy a traditional homemade lunch at the welcoming home of a local family and experience authentic Kyrgyz hospitality.
Return by 4WD truck to Karakol along the same scenic mountain route.

To reserve your spot, a 20% deposit is required. The remaining balance can be paid either 3 weeks before the tour or in cash upon arrival.
All lunches and dinners are not included. However, the guide will always make stops during lunch and dinner times along the route, where you can order food independently.
To save time during meal stops, the guide will coordinate meal arrangements one day in advance.
