Itinerary for 10 days
1 Day
Arrival at Manas Airport – Bishkek (25 km, approximately 1 hour by car).
Meet your guide at the airport, who will be waiting with a Solto Holidays signboard. Afterward, transfer to your hotel for some rest. Later, enjoy a city tour of Bishkek to explore the main sights and get a feel for the capital’s vibrant atmosphere.
2 Day
Bishkek – Kok-Moinok Canyons – Aksay Canyon (250 km, approximately 4–5 hours by road)
Meet your guide in the hotel lobby and begin your journey. Our first stop is Kok-Moinok, where you’ll have time to explore and capture stunning photographs of the canyon’s unique landscapes. We’ll then continue to Aksay Canyon, where you’ll spend the night in a yurt camp or eco-glamping site (note: shared outdoor facilities). The evening offers another chance to photograph the canyon’s dramatic scenery, with an optional night photography session under the starry sky.
3 Day
Aksay Canyon – Elcin Peak (150 km, approximately 2–3 hours by road)
We’ll start the day with a sunrise photography session in Aksay Canyon, with the option to take aerial shots by drone. After breakfast, we’ll continue our journey to Mars Canyon, then onward to Skazka Canyon. Depending on road conditions, we may transfer to a UAZ for a smoother ride. If access to Kok Jayik Valley is restricted, we’ll proceed on foot to our campsite, accompanied by a cook and porters. We’ll spend the night in tents, with the chance to capture stunning night photographs under a sky full of stars.
4 Day
Elcin peak - Karakol
In the morning, you’ll have the opportunity to photograph the surrounding landscape and the nearby peak. Afterward, we’ll drive to Karakol city. In the evening, we’ll head out to capture beautiful shots along the Tyup River.
5 Day
Karakol-Karakol peak view
Travel by UAZ to the starting point of your trek. Upon arrival, begin your hike to the yurt camp, where you’ll spend the night. Enjoy some free time to photograph the stunning Karakol Peak, which rises 5,200 meters above sea level.
(Optional: horseback riding is available today for an additional fee.)
6 Day
Journey to Ala-Kul Lake
After breakfast, begin your trek toward Ala-Kul Lake. Our camp and starting point are located at an elevation of 2,500 meters. We’ll cross a bridge and follow the trail ascending through the valley. After approximately 2–2.5 hours of hiking, we’ll pause for a rest near a small hut before continuing our climb to the lake. Lunch will be served along the route. The total trekking distance is about 12 km, with an altitude gain of 1,100 meters and a descent of 100 meters.

7 Day
Ala-Kul Lake – Altyn-Arashan – Karakol
Start the morning with photography around Ala-Kul Lake before beginning your trek. We’ll ascend toward the pass at 3,860 meters, offering panoramic views of the surrounding Terskey Ala-Too peaks, many of which rise above 5,000 meters. From the pass, we’ll descend through the gorge to the Altyn-Arashan hot springs at 2,500 meters. The descent takes approximately 3–3.5 hours, depending on pace. Upon arrival, enjoy a relaxing soak in the natural hot springs before transferring back to Karakol by UAZ.

8 Day
Karakol – Sary-Jaz
After breakfast, we’ll head to the Karakol Animal Market (note: the market operates only on Sundays). From there, we’ll drive to Sary-Jaz Valley, switching vehicles along the way as needed. Upon arrival in Sary-Jaz, we’ll set up camp in tents and enjoy some free time for photography amid the stunning mountain scenery.
9 Day
Sary-Jaz – Karakol
Begin the morning with a photoshoot in Sary-Jaz, capturing the breathtaking landscapes. Afterward, we’ll drive back to Karakol.
10 Day
Karakol – Cholpon-Ata – Bishkek (400 km, approximately 8 hours)
After breakfast at 09:00, we’ll depart for Bishkek. Along the way, we’ll stop to visit Grigoryev and Semenov Gorges. Continue the drive to Bishkek and check in at the hotel.
